Preparing your Home for Photos & Video
So you’ve made the decision to sell your home, your pride, and joy, filled with so many memories, your biggest asset.
Of course, you want it to sell quickly but sell it for a good price and you might be wondering what you can do to make your property stand out in the market... Well we have some sure-fire tips to make your home shine!
Less really is more-De cluttering is probably the most important job to do before bringing a property to market. Clear the benchtops in the kitchen and bathrooms minimise appliances and clutter.
Clear off the fridge of paperwork and magnets and take note that some personal photos may sneak into the images.
Clear out showers and baths of soap and shampoo bottles, remove mismatching towels, ensure toilet seats are down and remove toilet cleaner.
Make sure bedrooms are presentable. Make the beds, tidy up any toys lying around.
This is the time to complete any small jobs you have been meaning to get to like fixing the shower rail, patching that little dent in the wall, fixing the light in the kitchen etc.
Tidy up around the garden. Mow the lawn, get rid of any weeds, hide away the bins in the garage, and remove any toys or pet beds lying around.
If you have a pool remove the pool cleaner and any pool toys lying around. Make sure the pool light is working especially for a twilight shoot.
It may seem like a lot of work, but it makes a world of difference and has a massive impact on how your property is viewed in the market.
