What do you love taking photos of apart from Real Estate?

Outside of Crib, I photograph various arts and music events, as well as photographing foster cats for the Perth Rescue Angels!

What is your favorite Perth suburb and why?

While I live in Maylands which has everything I need - great cafes, bars and boardgames stores - I never thought I'd love the hills until I started shooting for Crib. I love the quirkiness of the homes in Darlington and the various views of the city and hills. Every home in Darlington is always an interesting experience.

What is your favorite type of property to shoot?

It's definitely hard to pick a favourite out of the various architecturally-designed homes in Darlington, but I also love the simplicity, geometry and materials of a suburban mid-century home especially if the seller has matching styling and furniture! I would also love to shoot an Iwanoff home one day!

What is the weirdest thing you have encountered onsite?

I photographed a townhouse in Trigg that was owned by a witch. She had two beautiful black cats! But the main bedroom had all its walls mirrored with dozens of taxidermied crows and weasels suspended by chains above the bed. She called it 'the Hitchcock room' with reference to his film "The Birds". The living room had many gothic and religious ornaments on display too. I guess she really was a witch!
